Robert Johnson Obituary
Ocala - Mr. Robert mason Johnson, 73, passed away on October 22, 2007 at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala after a long illness. He was born in Bliss, NY, on July 20, 1934 to Ephraim and Lucy Johnson. He graduated from Letchworth Central School in Castile, NY. He served in the United States Army in Hammelburg, Germany from 1954 to 1956. He retired from Koppers Co. in West Seneca, NY when he became ill. Bob was a member of Summerfield Baptist Church in Summerfield, Fl. where he served as a Deacon, Sunday school teacher and his favorite a bus ministry for the Senior Citizens each month for a day of shopping and out to either breakfast of lunch. He is survived by his wife Marilyn of 50 years; daughter Linda Johnson Hage of Sanford, Fl.; a son and daughter-in-law Kyle and Tammy Johnson of Summerfield, Fl. Four grandchildren: Erik Hage, Erin Hage, Mason Johnson and Jenna Johnson. Two brothers Hugie and Alberta Johnson of Warsaw, NY. , Nels and Dorothy Johnson of Gurley, Al. One brother-in-law Graydon and wife Sandra Schneckenburger of Crystal River, Fl. A cousin Phyllis Redding of Warsaw, NY, And 15 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gordon Johnson of Hume, NY. In lieu of flowers send donations to the Gideon Foundation. A visitation will be held at the ROBERTS DOWNTOWN CHAPEL 606 SW 2nd Ave. Ocala, Fl. on Thursday October 25, 2007 from 6-SPM. Services will be Friday the 26th at I p.m.

marilyn, sorry to hear about bob. we enjoyed you folks as neighbors when we lived next store. i know he suffered a lot with his heart and other illnesses but he, like paul, is at rest now. best of luck to you.
