Ocala - Robert Earl Stephens, Sr. age 64, died Monday evening September 24, 2007 under the care of his family and Hospice of Marion County. Born July 8, 1943 in Inglis, FL. to Earl and Melvena Stephens. He was a lifelong resident of this area. He was presently employed as a Trimmer for Skyline Mobile Home Manufacturing in Ocala and previously was employed as a Supervisor for Marc III Van Conversions in Ocala with 20 years of service. He was a US Air Force Veteran. He was Pentecostal and was a member of the Ocala Worship Church. His hobbies included Fishing and working on Old Lawnmowers. In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife of 15 years, Alma Stephens, three sons, Robert E. Stephens Jr., Thomas Stephens and Christopher Stephens all of Ocala, FL. 2 daughters Ellen Aultman (Billy) of Freeport, FL. Amanda Stephens of Ocala. 2 Stepsons Ronald Bronson (Danielle) and Adam Bronson both of Ocala 1 step daughter Helen Engler (Derek) of Ocala, FL. 1 brother J.D. Stephens (Linda) of Dunnellon, FL. 2 sisters Earlean Sheffield (Delma) of Williston, FL. and Juanita Roof (Carl) of Inglis, FL. 11 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson. STRICKLAND FUNERAL HOME CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. A Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday September 27, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the STRICKLAND FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL in Crystal River, Fla. with the Pastor Barney McCranie officiating.
