Walter Bernhart Obituary
Ocala - Mr. Walter J. "Wally" Bernhart, 65, of Sparr, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at his residence. A native of Boston, Mass., he moved to this area 27 years ago, coming here from South Florida. A professional horse trainer, he was the owner of WJB Stables. His memberships include the Ocala Breeders Association, and the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders Association. He is survived by his son Michael Bernhart and his wife Vanessa Norwood-Bernhart, grandson Bronck Price, and his granddaughters Terri Bernhart and Destiny Bernhart. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Sue Bernhart in 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd., with Pastor Ted Pressley officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday evening from 5-7 PM.
