Nathaniel Bowser Obituary
Nathan was born to Roger G. Gafford and Charlene A. Gafford on Aug. 16, 1989, in Dayton, Ohio. The family moved to northeast Iowa in November of 1990. He attended Oelwein Schools, and went on to pursue his passion for computers in secondary education. His love for computers and electronics followed him into employment. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sgt. Roger R. and Lena Gafford; maternal grandparents, Maj. Charles M. and Jane A. Bowser; father Roger G. Gafford; and mother Charlene A. Gafford.
Left to celebrate Nathan's life are his daughter Zelda, 4; his partner in crime, Beth Wood, 35 of Hazleton; Brother Edgar C. Gafford, 35, of Waterloo; Brother Adam C. Gafford, 34, of Dayton, OH; Sister Amanda D. (Joshua) Bowser, 33 of Hazleton; Brother Dru J.(Raquel) Bowser, 24 of Oelwein; Brother Michael D. (Kat) Bowser, 17 of Hazleton; Brother Darren G. Peyton, 36 of Waterloo; Nieces Jacklyn, Juniper, and Victoria; Aunt Tammy Sue Gafford and cousin Jeremy Jaggers, of Munfordville, KY; Uncle Stephen Bowser, parts unknown. Nathan also has many extended family members in Kentucky.
Nathan's family would like to cordially invite anyone and everyone to come together at the main shelter of Fontana Park on Sunday, Dec. 15, from 11?a.m. to 3?p.m. We will have a short memorial at noon for everyone to share their fondest memories of Nathan. Lunch will be provided.
Nathan was never afraid to be himself, and will be missed by all.
