Alice is the kindest, most thoughful person that I have ever known. No matter what challenges she faced in her life, she rose to the occasion and made the most of the situation, always focusing on her blessings and on a brighter tomorrow. Her habit of giving specially selected gift items to everyone is legendary. Two months before she passed away she mentioned that one item still on her "bucket list" was to have a Swensons Cheeseburger (she had never had one before). We got one for her, and she throughly enjoyed it. I am so blessed to have had such a sweet, generous mother-in-law, and I am further blessed to have wonderful memories of her.
