Andrew Hamilton Obituary
Andrew "Andy" Paul Hamilton, formerly of Randolph, passed away on January 27, 2015 in Las Vegas, NV. Born on March 9, 1949, as the first of Paul and Virginia Hamilton's six sons, Andy was a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle. He was a member of the last class to graduate from Randolph High School in 1967 and went on to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 43 years. Andy was one of the first EMT's in the state of Ohio and devoted 42 years of service to the Randolph Volunteer Fire Department. Although dedicated to his work and volunteer service, Andy's true love was being an active participant in the lives of his children and grandchildren.
Andy leaves behind his wife, Sandy; his children ,Mark (Erin), Dan (Sarah), and Jennie (Quentin) Cowdrey; their mother, Pat Oster; grandchildren, Nolan, Alex and Avery, Morgan and Julia; brothers, Gary (Diane), Larry (Sandra), Bob (Jody), Dave, Jeff (Ann); stepdaughter, Sabrina (Roland) Dueschle; their children, Christina, Bethany, and Abigail and numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his father, Paul and mother, Virginia, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Following Andy's wishes, the family will have a graveside service at the Hillside Cemetery Chapel in Randolph at 3 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015 with Reverend James P. Lang officiating. To the Hamilton family -- I was surprised to read of Andy's passing in the paper yesterday. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that all of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Andy was a good man and well liked. He left a lot of good memories for a lot of people. God bless.
