Anthony Weakland Obituary
He was preceded in death by his grandfather and best buddy, Robert (Bob) Evans.
Anthony is survived by his parents, Mark and Julie; siblings, Marky (Julie), Ally (Brad) and Amy; grandparents, Jean (Bob) Evans, Leo and Pat Weakland; niece, LilyJean; nephews, Layne and Chase; aunts and uncles, Linda (Dave) Edgington, Robin (Craig) Walters, Dawn "Judy" Long, Laura Weakland, Leo (Aliki) Weakland, John (Jenny) Weakland, Kris (Dennis) Harris; and many cousins and friends, especially Jesse Hiner and the "Goof Troop".
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, July 24, from 4-8 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 25 at Calvary Temple, 3045 Albrecht Ave., Akron with Rev. John Walker officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials be made to the Anthony Weakland Memorial Fund at any FirstMerit Bank branch.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Anthony. He was always a great kid growing up. I still remember momma Julie sitting in that chair rocking him as a baby... Then grew up to be a cute young man. Just remember to keep the memories alive that he brought to us all. I'm here for all of you if you need me. Prayers going out to the entire family.

You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I always enjoyed listening to Anthony share his outlook on life with me and his fellow classmates. He definitely enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. In the words of Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
