Antoine Anderson Obituary
Antoine L. Anderson, 38, went home to be with the Lord March 11, 2009 at Akron City Hospital.
She was a lifetime resident of this community, was employed at Summit County Job and Family Services, and was a member of the House Of The Lord.
Preceded in death by her mother, Marylyn Hearns; aunt, Eotha Robinson; and uncle, T.J. Robinson; she is survived by her husband, Timothy Anderson; daughters, Alisha, Vanessah, Viktoriah Anderson; father, Johnny (Charlene) Sims, all of Akron; brothers, Anthony Hearns of Atlanta, Ga., Jeremy Sims; sister, Michelle Sims, both of Akron; grandmother, Roberta Sims of Alabama; uncle, Richard Hearns of Akron; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the House Of The Lord, 1650 Diagonal Rd., with Pastor Dennis K. Butts officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form at 958 andrew St. Condolences may be sent to 843 Mercer Ave., Akron 44320.

I went to school with Antoine. We had not seen each other in years and just by chance we saw each other downtown and she told me of her illness, and to look at Antoine you would have never known she was sick. I admired her strength. She was a fun and loving person to hang around; I glad we had a chance to reunite are friendship. I pray God strengthens you during these challenging times. I WORK AT ONE OF TONI'S DOCTORS OFFICES AND I WAS SHOCKED TO HEAR THAT SHE PASSED AWAY. SHE CALLED JUST A FEW DAYS BEFORE TO SEE HOW I WAS FEELING. I WAS DUE TO HAVE MY BABY ANYTIME AND SHE WOULD CALL TO CHECK ON ME. THAT'S HOW THOUGHTFUL TONI WAS. ALL THAT SHE HAD BEEN THROUGH AND SHE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT HOW I WAS FEELING. Mr. Anderson and girls,
About 5 years ago I had the pleasure of training your wife and mother at Job and Family Services. I got to know her a little then, and I really admired 3 things about her:1) she wasn't afraid to speak her mind and stood up for what she believed in; 2)she had a very tender compassionate nature just under the surface; and 3)she had the utmost respect for her husband. Most people grumble about their spouses, but Toni always spoke about her husband in a very loving, respectful manner. She always talked about her girls and no doubt you have all grown up to be very well behaved, respectful young women. Toni worked for me for the last seven years and I will miss her greatly. I am comforted by the fact that I know that she is in a better place and no longer in pain.

I took the news of Antoine's passing very hard, My heart goes out to her family. Antoine and I met when I was 18 and she was 16, we were very close the years we were together. We stayed in touch with each other through the years and because of that I feel I know Tim, Vickie, and Vanessa (I've known Aalyisha since she was 6 months old) personally. This is so hard for me to take in, because I just spoke to her 3 weeks ago. She was definitly one of a kind. I'm going to miss her.

Oh my I have to say I am shocked beyond belief! Antione had such an energy about her that I thought she would live forever.
What a funny girl, we had so much fun working together at Peoples Federal and I still remember the belly laughs that left me with tears in my eyes and completely breathless.
Nobody has ever has made me laugh that hard.
Now my tears are not very happy ones and I want to express my SINCERE sympathy to the family for their loss. I have relief in discovering (when I read the guestbook) that she knew the lord before she left us here on earth.
I remember her beautiful and well behaved girls and I know how much she loved them. I worked with her through her pregnancy of her second one (boy did she have some strange cravings) but that just made her all the more loveable.
I still think of Toni often and all the fun we shared, this is such a tragic loss and she definitely WILL be missed.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to Toni's family. Keep the memory of her alive by sharing with one another.
I met Toni at ODJFS and she called me "Ghetto Princess" every morning - we always laughed and shared with one another our lives, our kids, God and our passion for SHOES and fashion. I will never forget her!
Alisha, Vanessa and Viktoriah she loved you ladies with all of her heart. I pray that God will comfort you and give you peace during this time.

She called me Moma Liz. My heart fell when i got the news.But also at the same time i heard what happen i knew that God had her in his arms. I met Antoine and Tim several years ago while playing cards with my children, she earned a very special place in my heart. God bless her two (2) beautiful girls and the family always. I am truly sorry for the loss of Toni. Our family will miss her. My heart and prayers go out to the entire family and Antoine's best friend Crystal. I had the pleasure of seeing God transform Antoine's life over the last few years. I am so glad that she is able to know God fully and feel His love like never before!

I am so heart broken over the loss of Antione. We met in high school and remained friends ever since. Although we lost touch with one another over the years, I will cherish the wonderful memories I have of her forever. Tim, Alisha, Vanessa and Victoria I will keep you in my prayers. I love you all.

I am so hurt by Antoine's passing, I really still don't believe what has happened. I will always remember Toine saying " HEY TEEK TEEK", and how anytime I saw her she was always smiling which in turn would make me smile. Antoine you are deeply missed, but I know you are in a better place looking down on us. Tim if there is anything at all that I can do please do not hesitate to let me know. Stay strong! I will continue to keep the Anderson family in my prayers. LOVE YOU GIRL!!!
