Chris Hilling - to the guy with the best looking hair, even more beautiful then the girls. Springfield Roller Rink, air band, you were a silly kid with a great smile and thats the memory I will keep. I never met your kids but having a son myself I can only send out to them a great big hug and to hope that memories never fade. Deepest sympathy to Chris's family. He was a super sweet guy.

Wow! Years have passed and may paths have divided. Never thought that a friend that I used to enjoy playing football, baseball, basketball, hide and seek, tag, etc. with would be posted in the obituary section of a paper so soon in life.

The death of Chris is a shock to me. I guess when you are young death seems so far away until it hits home in some form in your life. But what isn't a shock to me is the joy and love that Chris brought to so many people and his children.

Chris-

I know that many years ago when my parents divorced, I was taken away from the neighborhood and friends that I loved. One thing that wasn't taken away was my many memories and constant thoughts of the old days and the people that I shared them with. You'll always be in my thoughts and prayers as well as your family and those who you have touched and have held so dear in life.

My goal was to one day retrace my youth and catch up with old friends...one was you and another was your brother Eddy. I wanted to reunite and share stories of growing older. I wanted to say thank you for all the joy you brought me despite my troubled home situation. I wanted to thank you and your brother for watching me, teaching me things about sports, teaching me lessons rather by tricking me to do a stupid thing or to give me a firm no, making me feel accepted amongst the guys despite the fact that I was a girl, etc. I wanted you to know that although at times I was picked on by you and Eddy, that type of childish play help build my character and toughen up a bit. I wanted to introduce you to my own family. I wanted us to keep in touch.

Well, I guess I have reunited with you. Wish that it wasn't this way. To you I dedicate a song by Michael W. Smith called Friends...I'll miss you!

My thoughts and prayers are with all whom had the chance to know and love Chris – and to know him; was to love him; and never for-get him, he had a way of touching your life that made him unforgettable. Although it had been awhile since I had seen Chris, he was always in my thoughts.

I hold tight the many memories from the best years of my life, which were spent in the company of Chris (Jamie, Heath, Jimmy) From the all night Bomb fires, late night joy-riding and “SEE ‘M’ DUCKS” to trips to Geauga Lake and the weekend in the Allegheny Mts. - - there was truly never a dull moment. Chris could make you laugh in any situation and I’m so thankful to have so many great memories of him.

My heart goes out to Tori & Christopher; Amber ~~may time ease your pain..

Chris, I hope you know how many people you touched & how many people truly cared for you; and will never forget you. You will always have a special place in my heart~~ Know that your great sense of humor was surely passed to your daughter; Tori Lynn, I see SO much of you in her, Please watch over her Chris and help guide her through her heartbreak.

YOU WILL FOREVER BE LOVED AND NEVER FORGOTTEN BY MANY; MAY YOU REST IN PEACE
