Curtis Davis Obituary

Curtis Willard Davis

Curtis Willard Davis, born August 6, 1925 in Jellico, Tenn., left this Earth surrounded by his family at home December 28, 2012.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a retiree from Chrysler with 35 years of service. He was a man of little words and very humble. He loved his family and would give the shirt off his back if anyone needed it. He was a man of honor, trustworthiness, love, and deep family values. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded by his parents, Kevie Davis and Nora Grace Davis; his wife, Katherine Davis; and son, Curtis Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Bryan) Delgado; his sons, David (Pam) Davis and Alan (Candy) Davis; his grandson that he called his King, Justin Delgado; and his granddaughters that he called his Queens, Angel (Shawn) Wassam, Kasey Wassam and Autumn Wassam; brother, Kenneth Davis; and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market St.), where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
