Darrell K. Fultz

Darrell K. Fultz, age 76, of Elmore, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. He was born on March 29, 1937 in Akron, Ohio to Gerald "Keith" and Imogene (Foutty) Fultz. On Dec. 22, 1956, he married Montie Horchler in Richmond, Ind. and she survives. In his younger years he was a well driller and operator of Gasway Gas Station, Akron, Ohio. Later, he became a truck driver for Roadway Express, Toledo, Ohio and was a member of Teamsters Local 20, Toledo, Ohio. Darrell supported Solomon Lutheran Church, Woodville, Ohio. In his spare time he enjoyed riding his BMW motorcycle, woodworking in "Montie's Shop" and spending time at his cabin with his Bichon & sidekick Hunter.

Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Montie; daughters, Barbara (Mike) Henry of Elmore, Virginia (Craig) Thiessen of Salem, Ore., Noni Blausey of Elmore; grandchildren, Carol Henry, Nathan Henry, Byron Thiessen, Levi Thiessen, Caleb Thiessen, Bill Blausey, Katie Blausey, Michael Blausey; brother, Kenny Fultz of North Canton, Ohio; sister, Linda (Bud) Egli of Ravenna, Ohio; brother-in-law, George Horchler of Akron, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Janetta York of Ruskin, Fla., Alice Arnold of Dover, Fla.; and 14 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Gerald "Keith" Fultz; mother, Imogene Paige; sister, Donna Jean George; mother and father-in-law, Edra Horchler and Luther Horchler and brother-in-law, Eugene Horchler.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 201 West Main Street, Woodville, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. from Solomon Lutheran Church, Woodville, Ohio, where there will be additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service; officiating will be Rev. Kristina Ahlman. Interment will be conducted at Elmore Cemetery, Elmore, Ohio. A bereavement luncheon will be served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal service.
