David Pettit Obituary
The family will receive friends TODAY, January 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will be held Thursday, January 6, at 12 noon with Pastor Eloy Pacheco officiating. Final resting place is the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Chapel, or a charity of one's choice, in David's memory. Sherry and Amy:
Dave didn't quite make it to Fla. in 2011 but he sure gave his all to celebrate Chistmas and New Years with his family. His last weeks he was able to share his love for the Lord and his fearless attitude to face death with many, knowing it was just the beginning of a new life in heaven. We'll see him again, and in the meantime "Trust in the Lord with all of
your heart, Lean not on your own understanding, acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your paths straight" Keep your eyes upon Jesus.
Enjoy your new found love for one another, speak of him often, we will keep you both in prayer.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. My organization used Trinity throughout the years and Dave was always such a pleasure to work with. He was always very friendly. I regret that we never met in person. My prayers are with you.
