To the Sparhawk Family we send our condolences to your loss of your dad. The "Mayor of the Street" will be missed. He was the first person to welcome us into our new home in the neighborhood. He walked up to me and shook my hand and we were friends ever since. He gave me advice, the entire history on my house, and anything else I needed. His body is gone but not his spirit. We all have lost someone with his passing. Mr. Sparhawk will always be remembered.

To the Sparhawk Family we send our condolences to your loss of your dad. The "Mayor of the Street" will be missed. He was the first person to welcome us into our new home in the neighborhood. He walked up to me and shook my hand and we were friends ever since. He gave me advice, the entire history on my house, and anything else I needed to borrow. We sat for hours and talked about the history of Akron and the neighborhood. He was a good man. We all have lost a love one with his passing. He will be greatly missed.

Bob, Having also lost a parent to cancer when my mother passed away, I know the suffering the family goes through. Your dad was a neat guy and he was a neighborhood fixture from the day we moved in. You have my deepest sympathy. I hope you and Sharon and the boys are doing well otherwise. I'll say a quick one for your Dad. John Nicholas Las Vegas NV.

To Mr. Robert Sparhawk and the family of Mr. Edwin Sparhawk ~ Although we never knew your father, we are certain that we feel the influence of the abiding deep impression he made in your life, because you are the kindest and most encouraging teacher our children ever had in their school career. Every student remembers the things you taught them at Seiberling - things beyond the art table - and this is surely a reflection of what you learned from your father! He must have been a wonderful man, and we extend our most sincere sympathies to you and the family upon his passing. May the sadness filling your hearts today be lifted, in time, by the joy of a lifetime of excellent memories. God bless~ Joe and Lynn Brown and children... Joanna, Nathan, Petar and Samuel
