Elizabeth Yoder Obituary
WADSWORTH -- Elizabeth Yoder (Betsy), 84, passed away on October 24, 2015 at home in Wadsworth, Ohio.
She was born on August 2, 1931 in Brookline (a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pa). She graduated from South Hills High School in 1949. She worked for the Aluminum Company of America as a secretary for six years and married Lloyd Yoder in 1955 in Pittsburgh. Betsy was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
She is survived by her spouse, Lloyd; her daughters, Amy (Glen) Coral of West Chester, Pa., Kay (Jim) Carps of Wadsworth; and son, Raymond (Norma) of Willoughby, Ohio; her grandchildren, Laura (Andrew), Shannon, Michael, Jason, Jonathan, Stacey, Stephanie (Stephen), Rebecca, Andrew; and her great-granddaughter, Ryann. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Kathryn Reising; brother, George; and sisters, Henrietta (Groetsch) and Evelyn (McCafferty).
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth; Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 260 Broad St., Wadsworth, with Fr. Joseph L. Labak officiating. Family request memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church endowment fund or Summa Hospice.
