Grace Marie Evans

Grace Marie Evans, 80, of Hart ville, passed away Wednesday evening, Sept. 4, 2002, in the comfort of her home.

She was born June 10, 1922, in Hart ville to the late Henry and Mary (Brumbaugh) Myers. She was a 1940 graduate of Marlboro High School and had been an inspector at Marlboro Manufacturing, retiring in 1984. Grace was a member of the Hartville Church of the Brethren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard (Bill), in 1998, and a sister, Ruth Moles. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Carnahan of Hartville; son and daughter-in-law, Leslie and Hazel Evans of Uniontown; sisters and brother-in-law, Ethel Evans, Flor ence and Everett Norton, all of Hartville; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Myers of Alliance; six grandchildren, Christina Carnahan of Connecticut, Michael and Angie Carnahan of Columbus, San dra and Scott McLeod of Suffield, Todd and Deadre Carnahan of Cuy ahoga Falls, Dana and Malinda Evans of Hartville, Dawn and Jim Fergeson of Ravenna; and six great-grandchildren, Grant, Kayla, Sophia Grace, Jessie, Nathan, and Randy.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, 4 p.m., at Hartville Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Peter C. Kaltenbaugh Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hartville Church of the Brethren. (Arnold, Hartville, 330-877-9364.)
