Jacob Thomas Obituary
His Innocent soul touched many. He will forever live on through his parents, Samantha Von Ach and Clay Thomas; his brother, Jeffrey; his grandparents, Leland and Belinda Von Ach, and Allan Thomas. He will be missed by his aunts, Victoria (Joseph) and Angel (James); and uncles, Allan and William; cousins, Josh and James; and his Godmother, Rachelle.
Friends may call Monday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 811 Grant St. in Akron, where the funeral service will be Tuesday, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sharon Paine officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. May God embrace him for those who can not.

Oh Jakey, Loved you so much, such a beautiful boy, with that big smile, and those big eyes. Miss you, and know you are in a much better place, with your grandma, and so many more that are with you now! Hope there is lots of string in heaven. You were a very special boy, who touched are heart. I keep your picture on the fireplace and look at you everyday! Jakey never judged anyone, he was pure love! I will always love you! My prayers go out to Clay and Sam and family and friends who loved Jakey. And a special thank you to Angel, cause she would bring Jakey over, and let me see him! Love you guys!

Although I never met Jacob, I do know how much he was loved. In reading the comments and hearing the stories, I can say he gave and received more love and joy in his life than people who have lived ten times as long. Sam Jacob was a very happy boy I remember the times when he was in the hospital and i would take my lunch breaks and go up to see him and even when he was sick he still had a smile. I know he is in heaven right now sitting with Jeffrey and he is watching over all of you. If you need to talk just call.

Jacob had the sweetest soul. He went through so much in his short little life, with his Mommy forever by his side. He was always an Angel, just on lone to us for a short time. His gentle spirit touched so many and he will be missed by everyone who knew him. Sam, I know it is so painfully hard to be without your sweet baby boy. You have dedicated the last 5 years to him and I am sure you are lost without him. Be strong for Jeffrey. He needs his Mommy more than ever now. You are an amazing Mom.
