To Jan's family: I googled her name to find a phone number and found her obituary instead. How very sad for everyone who knew her. I worked with Jan at DHS for some time. I always remember her from the Jimmy Buffett concerts and what fun we had. May she rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to Bob, Stacia, Kristin & family. I had the privilege of sharing an office with Jan for several years at the AAA. I got to know what a kind, caring, compassionate & thoughtful person she was. If you knew Jan, you knew her great sense of humor as well. She was nurturing to her younger Care Managers at the Agency, she actually made several seasonal neck ties for me! Sounds like Jan, right? You don't meet many people like her in a lifetime, it was an honor to know her. Heaven truly has gained an Angel.

Jan grew up in Fredericktown, Ohio, moved on after high school to follow her dreams with Bob, the love of her life. Jan never forgot her Freddie roots and was always reaching back to support her hometown. Jan was a driving force in getting the FHS Alumni Scholarships fully endowed and was particularly active in raising the funds with her class to endow the "Class of 1959 honoring Julie Cochran Rogers Scholarship". We will remember Jan for her love of all things Freddies, especially the band, and a person who had an encouraging word for everybody.

Dear Bob and family,
I was astounded to read the face book posting about Janet´s passing. But bless her heart she went quietly in her sleep. I have been blessed to gradually become reacquainted with my cousin over the years via facebook and one or two visits to Amish country when I was in Ohio,. I was fortunate enough to meet Stacia on one of those visits as well. Janet was a warm and caring woman and I am going to miss her. Kindly accept my condolences for your loss.
Love from Seattle,
