Marcus Markarian Obituary
Marcus P. Markarian, 82, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018.
Marcus was a life-long residence of Barberton, and an Army Veteran with eight years of service. Marcus worked for the Department of Transportation as a Civil Engineer and retired after 42 years. He also spent 20 years working at Sandy Beach Marina fixing every boat on the water. Marcus was a talented mechanic and could fix anything. He built cars and raced his '56 Corvette at Dragway 42. Marcus was a very loving, generous and dedicated Father, Husband and Grandpa.
Marcus was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Carol; and was the beloved and devoted Father of Kellie (Budgie) Clark, Christine (Barry) Zimmerman, and Marcus S. Markarian, and dearest grandfather of Cassidy Renee Markarian, Tori Taylor Zimmerman, Chanse Budgie Clark, Caiden J. Markarian Clark and Talia Tara Zimmerman.
Calling hours at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Cox-McNulty Funeral home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton, Ohio, Memorial donations may be made in Marcus's name to the Humane Society.

We are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. From speaking with Kelly, we know how very close you were with him, and how important he was in your life. You will always cherish the time you spent with him and all the good memories. I'm sure he loved and appreciated you for it.
After reading his obituary, it was apparent how much alike you two are. How lucky your were to have such a great father.
