Margaret F. Kochan

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Margaret F. Kochan, 88 years old, was born in Farmington, West Virginia, October 17, 1920, lived in Cuyahoga Falls since 1926 and passed away quietly at home, November 6, 2008, joining her husband Steve S. Kochan with their Heavenly Father.

She was a long time member of the Cuyahoga Falls United Presbyterian Church and worked 22 years at the Cuyahoga Falls High School Cafeteria.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Steve A. and Linda Kochan of Munroe Falls, Sandra K. Hoagland and Thomas E. Kochan, both of Cuyahoga Falls; six grandchildren, Michelle R. (Gabe) Maher, Teent Marie (Dawn) Hoagland, Michael Hoagland, Mary (Chris) Gutman, David (Kellie) Kochan and Eric Kochan; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves her deeply loved sisters, Eleanor Grimes and Betty (Harvey) Hanes along with many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, November 14th, in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, and Saturday From 9 to 10 a.m. in the United Presbyterian Church, 2819 Hudson Dr,, Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Rev. J. Ross Slaughter officiating. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, P.O. Box 2090, Akron, OH 44398-6153 in her memory.

To the Kochan/Hoagland family~

I am so VERY sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person and I am sure she is making a wonderful angel too. May God hold you all in the palm of his hand and comfort you in such a sad time!

PS~ I am going to miss her help in the kitchen...She was a wonderful cook! Maybe she will still be able to help me from above!
