Marilyn J. Fletcher, 68, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 27, 2009, at Akron General Medical Center.
Born on September 1, 1940, she lived most of her life in the area. She worked at the AAA Auto Club and also as a Home Healthcare Aide until retiring.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Mary DeMali; sisters, Nancy Puster, Dolly Watson, Geraldine Pastorius; and loving daughter, Toni Carson. Left to mourn her passing are her loving son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Carol Fletcher; grandsons, Joseph and Vinnie Carson; brothers, Anthony (LouAnn) DeMali and Donald (Faye) DeMali; sister, Jeannette (Andy) Hershberger; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling hours will be held TODAY, 5 to 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Final resting place will be at Lakewood Cemetery, beside her daughter.
