Michael McGrevey Obituary
DOYLESTOWN -- Michael J. McGrevey, age 67, passed away on January 14, 2017.
Born on July 9, 1949 in Akron to the late Joseph and Barbara (Resley) McGrevey, he was a resident of Doylestown for 26 years, previously of Akron. Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War, and was retired from the Summit County Engineers Road Division. He liked to fish and follow sports, especially the Cleveland Indians and Cavs.
Preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Alice Clark, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Toni; daughter, Kelly McGrevey (Harley Bovard) of Akron; stepchildren, Kristy Horsburgh of Orrville, Paul Ivy of Norton, Jamie (Jody) Ivy of Doylestown, Toby (Lisa) Ivy of Navarre; 13 stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; other family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, 44230, with Fr. Robert Stein, Celebrant. Inurnment with military honors will take place immediately following at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
