Michele D'Avello Obituary
Michele D'Avello, 59, went home to be with the Lord June 18, 2015.
Born in Akron, Ohio she was a life resident of the area. Michele was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Philoptochos Society, Sunday School office staff, Choir, Good Samaritan volunteer, Parish Council Secretary, Love INC administrative assistant, Church Office Volunteer, Metropolis Summer Camp Staff, and faithfully attended Bible Studies and lecture series.
Michele received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Assisting Technology from the University of Akron.
Preceded in death by her mother, Mary; she is survived by her father, Faust D'Avello; brothers, Denis and Bob (Diana) D'Avello; nephews, Daniel, Joseph, Jonathan, and Timothy; Godchildren, Melissa, Katie, Alan, Krystle, and Charish; and many loving relatives and friends.
Services will be held 11:30 a.m. WEDNESDAY at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S. Union St., with Rev. Fr. Jerry F. Hall officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. TUESDAY, at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., where the Trisagion service will be held at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the GOC Sunday School. Dear Uncle Faust, Dan, Bob and your family,
We are so sad to hear about the loss of Michele. Like the old saying goes, "Only the good die young." Michele was such a great cousin and friend from a young age.I have so many found memories of her and our family that will be with me always! She was so kind, gentle, and loving to everyone, and had a heart of gold! She always put others before herself. I always told her that she reminded me of Aunt Mary and Yia Yia which was the biggest compliment ever!
I know that she is at peace at your mom's side. We will miss her terribly! May her memory be eternal!

It was great to see Michele at our 40th class reunion. She still had that same beautiful spirit she had in school. Praying God's comfort for her family whom she loved dearly. RIH Michele!

Michele lived her faith every day, and was a good and faithful servant of God. I cannot think of any person who was more kind or devoted to her family and Godchildren. To Michele's Family, I am heartbroken by Michele's passing. We've been best friends for 47 years. She has always been so loving and supportive to not only me, but also to my entire family.
