MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY OF MRS. COLLEDGE. MY PARENTS, BILL AND MARGE TURNER, WERE GOOD FRIENDS OF DOC AND MILLIE, AT AMREICAN LEGION POST 209, AKRON.
DOC WAS SUCH A FUN MAN TO BE AROUND WHEN I WAS A TEN YEAR OLD KID RIDING ON THE 40/8 TRAIN WHICH MY DAD DROVE. MY PARENTS ALWAYS SPOKE WELL OF DOC AND MILLIE. EVERY TIME I GO PAST THE RADIATOR SHOP I THINK OF DOC AND MILLIE.
THE AMERICAN LEGION POST 209 STILL HOLDS MANY PHOTOS OF OUR TREASURED DEPARTED LEGIONAIRES/AUXILIARY, SUCH AS DOC AND MILLIE. THEY WILL BE REMEMBERED TO MY LAST DAYS.

To each member of the Colledge family, may you feel the presence and comfort of our loving God through this sad time. Even with the peace and knowledge that your loved one is now with our heavenly Father, it is never easy to let go. May you find comfort in knowing that friends and each of us whose life you especially, Pastor Colledge, touch each time you step into the pulpit to speak from God's word of faith, mercy, love, salvation, and so much more, are here to offer prayers of encouragement and comfort to you. May God Bless you and your loved ones.
