Nancy Walker Obituary
Nancy Louise Walker (Schaeffer), age 79, born on September 8, 1939, and originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Robert Walker. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Louise (Koch) Schaeffer.
She is also survived by her son, Michael J. Walker, husband of Christine L., with whom she last resided in Uniontown, Ohio, and a daughter Julie L. Freed of Dickinson, North Dakota. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Madison A. (Walker) Hilston, wife of Tyler A. Hilston of Columbus, Ohio. Other survivors include a sister, Judith A. Alfiero, of Auburn, Pennsylvania, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Reading Senior High School in 1957 and held various administrative positions, retiring as an Executive Assistant from Essig Plumbing and Heating, Reading, Pa. in 2005. She loved sports, cooking, baking, but mostly her family and large circle of friends.
