Patsy Simmons Obituary
She was a member of Johnson United Methodist Church in Barberton, had volunteered for various organizations including Ronald McDonald House and loved to travel.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert and sister, Nancy Youngs; she is survived by her daughters, Becky Simmons of Barberton, Cindy Bisheimer (John) of Akron and Kathy Malicoat (Kenny) of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Kelly Bisheimer (Jason Seeliger) and Traci Cox (Jason); honorary granddaughters, Joyce Midcap (Mark), Bridgit McKee and Angela Carpenter; great-granddaughter, Eleanor Cox; honorary great-grandchildren, Noelle Segal, Ian Arnold Allison Arnold, Ben Midcap, Jessica Luczywo and Lindsey Luczywo; and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Barbara Ryan of Stow.
The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Sunrise Assisted Living for their exceptional care.
A Celebration of Patsy's Life will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 in Tallmadge Town Hall on the Tallmadge Circle. Final resting place Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St. New York, New York 10016.

I love you and miss you, mom! You gave us many years of wonderful memories. I think I took pictures of most of them. :0) I smile when I think about you and dad being together again. Thank you for raising us to love and appreciate family. That's what is most important. Until we meet again....

From the moment I became a part of this family, Grandma accepted me as one of her own. I will never forget the love and kindness she showed me and so many others. A truly beautiful soul and one of the most courageous women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Thank you Grandma, for being the best and for raising such a beautiful family. We will miss you dearly, but will always cherish the wonderful memories you gave us!
