Robert Hogan Obituary
Hogan Robert Anthony "Bob" Hogan, age 60, of Dublin, Ohio, died peacefully at The Kobacker Hospice House on Thursday, April 30, 2015.
Preceded in death by his parents John Francis and Maryann Hogan and his brother John Francis Hogan, II. He is survived by his wife, Janice Kozar Hogan; and children, Lon (Lisa) Hogan, Jenna (Matthew) Romeo and Robert (Kate) Hogan; and grandchildren, Riley, Olivia, Cameron, Naomi and Jake; he is also survived by his siblings, Col. Thomas J. (Florence) Hogan, MaryAnn (Jim) Rozmajzl, Dr. James (Carolyn) Hogan, Paul (Marge) Hogan, Frances (John) Holland, Richard (Cynthia) Hogan and Elizabeth Duarte; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Hogan; and brother-in-law, Anthony (Kathleen) Kozar; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a graduate of Saint Edwards Catholic High School in Carrollton, Ohio and attended the University of Akron. He was a former resident of Daphne, Alabama where he and his wife received the Key to the City. He was a parishioner of St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church in Dublin and was a long-time employee of Grainger, formerly Safety Solutions. Bob was an avid Notre Dame fan, loved to be on the water and was a loyal friend, mentor and coach to many. His greatest love in life was his wife, children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to The Kobacker Hospice House, c/o Ohio Health Foundation, 180 East Broad Street, 31st Floor, Columbus, OH 43215, in Bob's memory.

My family has said different things to me throughout the months and all I could ever say was "better than not at all." I'm incredibly grateful to have spent time and made memories with by far the most gentle soul that has ever graced this earth. Though nothing will ever take your place or lessen the pain from missing you, how blessed my entire family is to have gotten to know and love you. It has been a complete honor and a privilege. Our most sincere condolences. We are so sorry for your loss and the extreme trials you have endured over the last several months. Bob's easy smile and gracious manner will be greatly missed in the neighborhood, but his legacy and life is characterized admirably by Janice, his children and their families, and love and support they have consistently demonstrated for one another. May he rest in peace knowing he has made a positive difference in other people's lives.
