Ruby Kidd Obituary
Ruby was employed by Summit County Department of Human Services at the time of her retirement. She was a member of the Greater Bethel Baptist Church and Phoenix Chapter No. 96 Order of the Eastern Star.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester; sons, James and Stanley; one sister and brother. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Edee Broaddus, Vanessa (Clark) Thomas, and Sonya Williams; one brother; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Homegoing service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 12 Noon at Greater Bethel Baptist Church, 404 S. Arlington St., Akron, Ohio, 44306, Pastor Melford Elliott officiating. Interment at Glendale Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church from 11 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 3980 Palace Way, Akron, OH 44321.
