Ruby Lilly Obituary
Ruby B. Lilly (nee Conrad), 68, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013.
She was a resident of Barberton for most of her life and enjoyed playing bingo.
Preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Lilly; parents, Grover and Rose Conrad; sisters, Barb Layfield, Edna Conrad, Linda Peppard and brother, Jay Conrad; Ruby is survived by her children, Diana (Myron) Papp, Donna (Greg) Robinson, James Lilly and Darla (Clifford) Smith; grandchildren, Rhonda, Jessica, Deana, Lila, Eric, Andrew, Heather, Aaron, Colby, Adam, Alexis, Dustin and Gage; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Stoddard, Jean Freeman, Lorena Lowery and Tina (Adam) Evans; brothers, Bobby, Ralph (Darlene), Jerry and Randall (Lona) Conrad; special family friends, Brenda Layfield and Margaret Heath; special niece, Patricia Conrad; along with many nieces, nephews; other family members and friends.
The family will like to extend special thanks to Summa Akron City Hospital CCU, Daekwan Loftin and Mike Fasig for all of their care and support.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 .a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Robert Webb officiating. Calling hours Monday 4 to 7 p.m. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

I miss you granny. My heart is heavy tonight and wanted to make sure you knew I was thinking of you and grandpa. Life seems crazy but know I´ve never forgotten to think of you or grandpa. I miss him so much and I hope you two got to be reunited. He was and amazing man and I knew you were lucky to have him! We miss you and as Christmas passes we all have a heavy heart. I hope you got to see Andy and grandpa. I sure do miss you and wish you could see all of us grown up. All of us are doing great and I know you would be so proud! We miss you everyday and I can´t wait to see you again

Sitting here thinking about you gram! I'm sad that your gone but grateful you do not have to suffer anymore! I hope you, Andy, and grandpa have found each other because I know those two could always make you laugh! Mom and I talk about the time you called and was wanting to gossip and I told you that's how rumors get started and mom and I couldn't stop laughing. Mom was laughing so hard and banging her feet on the floor so hard dad came up to see what was going on. I couldn't stop laughing and had to call you back. Or when I would take you and aunt Brenda to bingo and I wouldn't let you in the car until you did something funny, aunt Brenda would just say do it ruby so we can get in the car... I miss those days and I miss you! I love you granny and I will see you one day but save me a seat just like if we were going to bingo lol!

It has been three months since you left, yet it seems like yesterday. I still get that instant urge to call you when I see or hear that someone has passed away that we know!! I miss talking to you and getting your phone call every day at 10 pm when I am leavig work! I sure hope you were re-united with dad. Until we meet again....Diana

To Ruby's Family,
You have our Deepest Condolences and Sympathy at the Loss of Your Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and Friend.
We had the Pleasure of knowing Ruby through Tom Stoddard, our Nephew-in-Law and got to know her even better through our trips to West Virginia to play Bingo and at West Wilbeth Bingo. Rest Assured She in now out of pain and is reunited with the Love of Her Life and the rest of Her Family that passed before Her and she is Soaring High with the rest of the Angels for she surely earned her Wings while here on earth. God Bless Each and Every One of You During this Difficult Time.
