Shawna Vorhees Obituary
BARBERTON -- Shawna Marie Vorhees, 40, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 18, 2014.
She was a life resident of Barberton. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Bobby and Wilda Williams and Inez and Robert Vorhees, Shawna is survived by her children, William Stover and Samantha Stover, both of Barberton; mother, Wilda Vorhees of Barberton; father, Robert Vorhees of Houston, Texas; brother, Robert (Robyn) Vorhees, deployed with the U.S. Air Force; sister, Amanda (George) Nakovski of Barberton; fiancée, John McClure; numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

When I was home a couple of years ago I remember seeing her. She looked and sounded exactly how I remembered her in high school. She was always smiling and enjoying life. When my brother told me she passed away, it haunted me for weeks. I could not get her out of my thoughts. Even sitting here writing this I can remeber her laugh. Her spirit will be greatly missed.

It's so hard to believe your gone. It's been years since we've seen each other or even spoken. And for that I will be forever sorry for. This is sad news, Shawna was my Arts&Crafts buddy our senior year at BHS, she was at my house what seems like months ago although it's been many years, and I most recently bumped into her at Tough Bodies Gym maybe last year or year before..I don't know..my sense of time is skewed anymore but she looked great whenever it was. My sympathies and condolences to those closest to her..we've lost a very fun-loving, caring, and beautiful person.

I have known Shawna for many years and I am very sad to hear this! Many good times spent with her. Nights spent at her house in middle school, great times at high school..and many a Halloween party at her house with Bill on summit st. She was one of us! Miss your face.
