Steve Obradovich

BARBERTON Steve Obradovich, 79, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2003.

Steve was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He retired from Ruhlin Co., where he worked as a union carpenter/pile driver out of Local 1871. He also owned and operated his own saw sharpening company, All Sharp; prior to this, he was a home builder in Norton. He was a member of Victory Lodge 649 F&AM and 32nd Degree Scot tish Rite.

Steve enjoyed many things in life; the mountains of West Virginia, woodworking, fishing, and spending time with family were just some of the things he loved.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, and is survived by his four sons, Sam (Patti) Obradovich, Bob, Carl (Colleen), Tom (Judy); two grandchildren, Annie and Matt Obradovich; his beloved friend, Mary Maynor; and numerous friends and relatives.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., at Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home. A committal service will be held Friday, 2 p.m., at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Ryan Hayden officiating, with military services conducted by Firestone V.F.W. 3383. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Hos pice Care Center. (Campfield-Hick man-Collier, 330-745-3161.)
