Ted Smith Obituary
Ted was a proud Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He lived his entire life in Cuyahoga Falls, retired from Akron Welding and Spring and then volunteered at Akron City Hospital for 14 years.
Ted was a kind and gentle soul who was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy A. and Theodore I. Smith Sr. He will be missed by many friends including extraordinary special friend, Jeanette Barnard.
Thank you to Hospice of Summa and Honor Flight Cleveland for all they did for Ted.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home to remember Ted on Thursday, from 5 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday 9:30 a.m. in the chapel at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1761 Second St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Father James Marsick celebrant. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
