Terry Varney Obituary
Terry W. Varney, 66, of Akron, passed away April 20, 2015.
Terry was born in Pinsonfork, Kentucky on April 30, 1948 to the late Cecil and Jean Varney. Terry retired from Progressive Auto Group in 2014. He was a 32nd degree Mason and was a social member of the Firestone VFW Post 3383 and the Barberton Moose. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Parsons. He is survived by wife, Kathy Varney; son, Christopher (Jaime) Ludle; granddaughters, Alexis Ludle, and Ashley Young; father-in-law, Jim Bondurant and mother-in-law, Jo Ann Bondurant; sister-In-law, Vickie (Tom) Skinner; and brothers-in-law, Joe Bondurant, and Scott (Ginger) Bondurant; brother and best friend, Bob (Barbara) Holmes. To know Terry is to know a friend.
Family and friends may call on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral service will follow at 7:30 pm.
