SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. — Bryan Randall Workman, 38, of Spotsylvania, formerly of Ceredo-Kenova, W.Va., passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 30, 1975, in Huntington, W.Va. Bryan was a 1993 graduate of Ceredo-Kenova High School. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Kentucky, received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Averett University and was awarded his Master of Healthcare Administration from Ohio University. Bryan was director of plant operations at SRMC in Virginia.
Bryan is the beloved husband of Melissa Davis Workman, whom he married Feb. 3, 2001. He has two beautiful children, Lauren, 18, and Derek, 11.
Bryan is also survived by his parents, Randy and Sarah Workman, of Culloden, W.Va; paternal grandmother Lora Workman, of Ceredo, W.Va.; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Tom and Marlene Davis, of Gallipolis.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Charles and Lyndol Curry; and paternal grandfather Virgil Workman.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at Willis Funeral Home in Gallipolis with Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-10:45 a.m. Friday. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Kenova, W.Va., with Dr. Jerry C. Workman officiating.
