BIDWELL — Joseph Allen Thompson, 60, of Bidwell, passed away on Friday, May 28th, 2021, following a brief illness. Joseph was born Feb 21, 1961, in New London, Conn. He was a son of the late Joe & Dorothy (Matusewicz) Thompson. He was an owner-operator truck driver for Cardinal Transport & a 1980 graduate of Kyger Creek High School & Buckeye Hills Career Center.
Joseph is survived by his girlfriend Judy Northup, sons Kevin (Chelsea) Thompson of Charleston, W.Va., and JD (Heather) Thompson of Point Pleasant, W.Va., grandchildren Bella, Maci, Claire and Jake. Joseph is survived by one brother and four sisters, Marion (Mike) Cochran, Theresa (Paul) deLamerens, Al (Suzanne) Thompson, Cassandra (Jeff) Chapman & Wendy (Todd) Hamilton, nieces and nephews Paul (Beth) Cochran, Grace (Adam) Dietsch, Andre (Missy) deLamerens, Maria (Phil) Morton, Katherine (Dana) Bockbrader, Alex (fiancé Bailey Roberts) Thompson, Heather (Richard) Wilson, Austin and Michael Hamilton, great nieces and nephews: Brenna and Claire Cochran, Loretta Dietsch, Elijah Morton and great nephew number two due in September, a host of beloved cousins, aunts & uncles and extended family Jason (Destiny) Northup, Shaun (Lindsey) Northup, Brian (Becky) Northup, Melissa (Robert) Hall, Jessica Moore and their families.
A private service was held by the family.
