I don't know you but I read this interesting obituary because my maiden name is McFarland. My grandfather's name was Robert as well as my uncle Rob and cousin Robert. My dad had a cousin Charles who passed away years ago. My dad's family grew up around Idabel, OK. I'm sure we're related really far far back there, but my family was from Idabel, OK. Sorry for your loss. What a great tribute to an obviously wonderful man. Bless you all.

Mr. McFarland was a dear sweet person who always had a wonderful smile for me while offering me his hand. It was both a pleasure and a privilege to have known him! He is now with our Lord. I will truly miss him, as will all of us at St. Michael's Catholic Church! My condolences to all his family and friends.

Mr.McFarland was a very respected man. I am thankful that he allowed me to work on the Chapel building. Jim Cook introduced me to him and it was a great experience working for such a nice person. Your family can be proud of such a rich heritage.
