My dear friend Chris, you were there when I came into AA and I witnessed you walk with grace through adversity. You always stayed late to talk to the newcommers and will always be remembered with love and respect.

I will always remember Chris's smiling face. He always made me laugh in times of grief, and helped me relate to the day to day struggles through his honesty and humility. I always loved to hear him share, he always brought happiness to my day.
He will be greatly missed. He loved his children so much, - my prayers go out to them, and I hope some day they will know what an amazing person their dad was, and always will be.
Sincerely and with love always,
Laynie Patterson Tehan

Chris was a great friend to me over the years who provided the voice of reason at times when it was needed most. He was often quick to follow that voice of reason with the voice of sarcasm, which was always guaranteed to leave me laughing and genuinely better off than I was before.
I will miss him dearly but trust that he is resting in peace with the Lord. I know this because he was too good of a man for it to be any other way.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
