Jared Ryan Thompson

Jared Ryan Thompson passed away on March 3, 2006. He was born on July 28, 1976 to Thomas Dean and Joan McLauchlin Thompson. Jared attended Oklahoma City University, Department of Holistic Medicine at Kramer School of Nursing, and Southern Nazarene University. He was on the Dean's Honor Roll at both universities. Jared was an Electrician Apprentice at the time of his death. Jared was a proud member of the Chickasaw Nation. He was a member of the Epiphany Roman Catholic Church. Anyone who knew Jared was aware of his caring nature. He always went out of his way to help others. Jared now joins his older brother, Dean, who preceded him in death, his grandmother Marie Josephine McLauchlin and grandfather James Rayburn McLauchlin, Jr., MD. Jared is survived by his parents, his Aunt Sarah Pansza and Uncle Terry Pansza, and his Uncle James Rayburn McLauchlin III. He is also survived by his grandmother, Monzella Keel Golden of Stratford, uncles, cousins and special friends, Gary Michael Gray and Karen Booth and their families. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Indian Cultural Center or thecharity of your choice. Services will be private at the Pickard Funeral Home in Stratford, Oklahoma. The Very Reverend Russel Hewes will be officiating along with Jared's cousins, The Very Reverends Steve Lucas, Edmond, Oklahoma, and Jay Keel, Ada, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at McGee Cemetery in Stratford, Oklahoma.
