For some reason, your name popped into my head the other day. I asked some of your old HI buddies and Ricky filled me in! We had some awesome times and still it just doesn't seem real to me. You will always have a special place in my heart! xoxo

It was great watching you grow as a wrestler and a man. I will never forget all of those kids tournaments - and of course - all of the High School State Tournaments. I will forever have great memories of you. Coach Bob Warkentine

Kiyon, you will be missed. I knew you throughout our childhood wrestling years. You were always such a tough competitor but always a class act whether winning or losing. May God keep you at his side.

We loved you Kiyon and always will. We will miss you dearly. I loved being coached by you and our little hand shake before each match. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you.

I am so sorry to hear about Kiyon. I knew him when we went to school together at KCKCC. Even though I hadn't seen Kiyon in years I never forgot about him. He was such a great person and will be missed.

Though we all went our separate ways after high school, there still remains a special place in my heart for everyone from the WHS class of '95. I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Kiyon. He is one of those unforgettable people that you come across in life. My thoughts are with his friends and family.

Kiyon brought such a vibrant energy with him in everything he did. It was contagious! I smile at the memories I have of him, and cry because such a wonderful person was taken from us. Kiyon, we love you, and will think of you always. I feel so blessed that I had the pleasure of calling you a friend. You will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Koroma family and friends...

Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

Kiyon you will truly truly be missed by so many! I still can't believe you are gone. You were always smiling, always laughing, always a friend. I will never forget recess on the playground @ Whittier, watching you concur your goals on the mat and clowning in the hallways between classes! Although we lost touch over the years you were a dear sweet person that touched so many lifes including my own. May God comfort and keep your Sister, Mother, family and friends in his forever care. May God keep you my friend!

Kiyon: You were truly an unforgetable person. We've known you since your school days with our daughter. Always a smile, always a hello and always a little onery. News travels fast when its someone you know ....from Missouri, from a classmate who is still trying to come to terms with this. To Kiyon's parents and sister: May God bless and keep you in your time of sorrow.
