Leslie Davis Obituary

Leslie R. Davis, 75, died Dec. 30, 2005. He was born Oct. 14, 1930 to Carl F. and Ruth Hottenstein Davis in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He retired from Proctor & Gamble after a lengthy career. He held a BS Degree in Geology and a Master's in Geography from OSU where he supported athletics and various university foundations. He was a distinguished military graduate and was on the regimental staff in the ROTC officer's program. He served in Korea as a 1st Lt. and platoon leader in the US Army from 1952-53. He was a civil war buff and traveled extensively. He is survived by his wife, RuthAnn Davis, Bethany; son Larry Davis, Mustang; daughter Linda Putt, Yukon; their mother, Carole Davis, Yukon; stepson Dusty Reavis, OKC; step-daughter Amy Reavis, Bethany; sister Rita Reed, Rapid City, SD; brother Don D. Davis, Yukon; 2 grandchildren, Ryan Davis and Whitney Putt. and four nieces and nephews, Bill Reed, Pamela Rippe, Jeff Reed, and Marcia More who loved Leslie and will miss him dearly. A Military Ceremony, followed by interment of cremains at the family plot, will be held at a future date at Resurrection Cemetery, OKC, OK. MERCER-ADAMS
