July 8, 1974 - June 12, 2018 DEL CITY Mark William Ring, 43, passed away June 12, 2018. Mark was born in Oklahoma City on July 8, 1974 to Paul D. Ring and Anna Ring. He graduated from Del City High School in 1992, where he lettered in wrestling. He has a distinguished military career in U.S. Army. He served four tours in the Middle East with Special Forces Green Berets. He lived life to the fullest, hard and fast. Mark had a great love for family and friends, he also had deep spiritual love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Mark is preceded in death by his father Paul and brother Jeremy. Mark is survived by his mother: Anna, brother: Dewayne, children: Blaire, Brooke, Baylee, Carson Ring, and granddaughter Ace Johnston.

Mark was my friend while stationed in 10th Group. I lived down the hall from him in the barracks and deployed alongside him. He was a guy you wanted to the left or right of you. I will miss my friend. I have thought about him often, and will continue to do so.

I am so, so sorry to hear he is no longer with us. Mark was one of my closest friends when he was stationed out here in Colorado Springs and I will miss him greatly. I have thought of him many times over the years and the memories bring a smile to my face! I'm just thankful I had a chance to know him! See you on the other side brother!!!
