Jun. 27, 1927 - Aug. 8, 2017 OKLAHOMA CITY Patsy Ruth (Salter) Ford of Lindsay, OK was born on June 27, 1927 in Byars, OK, one of six daughters and two brothers of Hugh and Belle (Johnston) Salter. Patsy peacefully passed away and was welcomed into the Kingdom of our Lord on August 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ulys Joedean and eldest son, Larry Dean and his wife Shirley (Biggs) Ford. She is survived by her sister, Winabel McReynolds of Tulsa, OK; sons, Roger and wife Sherri Ford of Oklahoma City, OK and Steve and wife Teri Ford of New Braunfels, TX; nine grandchildren and (14) great-grandchildren. Patsy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lindsay. Known to be frugal, generous and highly organized, she always had a project going on; managing the Little League concession stand in Chickasha, hand-sewing most of the clothes for her three young boys, her arts and crafts always completed in great detail, and always found time to bake chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies and brownies by the dozens. The lasting gift for each one of us is the demonstration of total, unconditional love that she and Ulys shared for sixty-five years in life. We can celebrate knowing the Lord has brought them back together for all eternity. Funeral Service will be conducted by Ford Funeral Service (Midwest City) at their Candlewood Chapel, Friday, August 11, 2017, at 10am. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsay, OK at 2pm. The family will be available at a visitation Thursday, August 10, 2017, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Ford Funeral Service (Midwest City).
