Robert Pool Obituary

Robert Allen Pool passed away Tuesday August 29, 2006. He was born in Charleston, WV on May 18th, 1937. Bob attended Midwest City High School. He served in the United States Navy. Bob was self employed in telecommunications industry. Bob was very involved in community and charity associations. A few of the organizations included would be: President of Britton Nationhood Assoc., Sundownners Club, Clowning Around, Volunteer at Veterans Hospital. In the past, Bob was very active in All Souls Episcopal Church. He had enjoyed several hobbies and liked to spend time with his boat with friends at the lake. In the most recent years, he loved touring and trips with a local motorcycle club. We will remember Bob for his devotion and faith in God, loyalty to friends, and his renowned leadership abilities. He is now with our Lord, but will be in our minds and hearts forever. Bob was preceded in death by his mother Alpha Amelia Pool. He is survived by his daughter, Holly Pool Looney and her husband Greg Looney; his grandchildren, Casey Looney and Austin Looney; his father, William Ben Pool; his sisters, Linda Pool Lewis and her husband, Ron Lewis, Veda Pool Shapard her husband Bill Shapard and his brother William Jay Pool. A Memorial Service will be held at All Souls' Episcopal Church 6400 North Pennsylvania Ave, OKC on Friday September 1, 2006 at 11am.

Bobby, what a great reward to join so many of your old friends and to see Alpha again. Iam so sorry for the suffering you had before you left. How wonderful it must be now! Free from pain and restrictions.Watch for the rest of us. I know you are happy to be home. We will miss you here. Take care till then. Linda
