I was always proud of you Steve. I wish I had been able to tell you good bye. You were my first true love. I had the time of my life with you. It was long ago and maybe you had forgotten but I didn't and never will. I often passed the house we shared and wanted to stop just to see you once more. I wish I had. I missed you then and will always. I hope the angels know what they have. I love you forever.

Steve was a very honest, caring, thoughtful and kind person with whom I was fortunate enough to work with in a jazz combo at Nonna's when it first started on the south side of Oklahoma City. He was an extremely talented musician, songwriter, producer and singer, who will be greatly missed.
