Duane and I were colleagues at Capital Holding Corporation. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was smart as a whip. My wife and I were guests at the Murner household on various occasions, where we came to know Anne. It was a wonderful surprise to learn we were fellow parishioners at Epiphany. Having both served on the PPC, we were able to share an appreciation for "discernment" and other processes of Church leadership. Anne, too, was head of Formation for some period of time. My condolences to Anne and the Murner family. Duane will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathies to Anne and all the Murners. Duane was a dear friend to me and my husband, Ed. Duane and Ed created the Doylestown Tennis Club in 1973- an amazing accomplishment by two friends who spent a year pursuing their dream. And they remained close friends until the end. This year the club will celebrate its 50th Anniversary. My prayers are with you, Anne, and your family. May God bless you and comfort all of you.

I first met Duane when he had beavers taking down trees on his farm. I then worked for him in county government. Ever the gentleman, he was intelligent, informed on so many diverse topics, and surprisingly funny. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
