Nancy Elstone Obituary
Nancy E. Elstone, 90, died Sunday, March 29, 2026.
She was born September 14, 1935, daughter of James D. and Opal White Smith. Nancy was a 1953 graduate od Shawnee High School. She retired from The Ernst Miller White Library at the Louisville Presbyterian Seminary after 21 years of service. Nancy formerly attended Parkland Christian Church and St. Bernard Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, George W. “Pete” Elstone; and siblings, Tom and Stan Smith and Peggy Woodward.
Survivors include her children, Marty Elstone (Pat), Greg Elstone, Teresa Rodgers (Joe), Joseph Elstone and Laurie Elstone; 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and brother, Kirk Smith.
Visitation is 3-6pm Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road. Private burial in Calvary Cemetery.
