Ruth Higginbotham Obituary
Ruth Evelyn Higginbotham, 101, died Sunday, March 29, 2026.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Lilly Lee Hicks; husband, Herbert Lyle; daughter-in-law, Linda; and siblings, Hazel Cox and Jewel Brooks.
She is survived by her son, Danny Higginbotham; grandchildren, David (Amie) and Evan (Tiffany) Higginbotham; great grandchildren, Emilee and Taylor Smith; and sister, Betty Noe. Plus, a host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing.
Her funeral is 1:00pm Friday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is after 11:00am until the time of the service.
