Julia Beard Obituary
Crestwood
Julia Ann Beard, age 81, of Crestwood, Ky. passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.
She was born to the late Lem Benjamin and Faye Vanmeter Abbott in Hattiesburg, Miss. on October 12, 1943.
Ann was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Pewee Valley, Ky. She was also a devoted member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the King.
Left to cherish the memory of Ann are her children, Laura Beard and Carl Beard; grandchildren, Carl Joseph Beard, Graeme Benjamin Hutcherson, Sarah Michelle Beard, and Ciel Faye Hutcherson; twin sister, Nan Shewalter; sister, Nancy Abbott; and extended family, and friends.
A celebration of Ann's life will beheld at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery in La Grange. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4-7 p.m. with a service by the Eastern Star.
Memorial donations can be made to the Eastern Star Home in Ann's memory.
