Marion "Sue" Thompson Shepherd, 84

Marion "Sue" Thompson Shepherd, age 84, of La Grange, Ky. passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
She was born to the late William and Nina (Cooke) Thompson in Louisville, Ky. on March 19, 1941.
Sue retired from Chevron after a 34-year career in Human Resources. She attended college at Georgetown College. Sue had a love of flowers, enjoyed needlework, arts and crafts and was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, John Thompson and Dinah Kohnhorst.
Left to cherish the memory of Sue are her husband, John Taylor Shepherd; stepchildren, Shari Shepherd Jones (Mark) and Stephen Shepherd; siblings, Rance Thompson (Judy), Sarah Rittenberry, Kevin Thompson (Janet), Evelyn Morgan and Roger Thompson (Marlene); sister-in-law, Margo Thompson; brother-in-law, Lanny Kohnhorst; 13 nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of Sue's life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St. in La Grange with visitation from 11 a.m. until the start of the service.

Sue will be missed by those who loved and knew her, she embraced being a wife, stepmom, sister and aunt!
