Wendell L. Trapp, Jr. "Junie", 84
Eminence
Wendell L. Trapp, Jr. "Junie," of Eminence, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Son of the late Laverne (Marsh) and Wendell Lattimore Trapp, Sr., he was a special education teacher and retired as librarian for Henry County Schools. He was a longtime, faithful member of Ballardsville Baptist Church where he served as deacon and church clerk. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Trapp.
He is survived by his sons, Todd Trapp (Gretchen Marshall) of Eminence, Bruce (Faye) Trapp of Worthville and Carroll Trapp of New Castle; his sister, Mary Jane Sine of Louisville; five grandchildren,Yvonna Shedd, Jalessia Lyons, Amber Dugle, Kelsey Trapp, Shelby Trapp, Reagan Trapp; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Don Wright, with interment at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery in Centerfield. Form of Contributions may be given to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
