David C. Jandrew

BOLIVAR - David C. Jandrew, 50, of 634 County Road 33, Bolivar, passed away Saturday (April 8, 2023) from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

Born July 18, 1972, in Buffalo, he was a son of Elwin Briggs and Mary Savage Burlew. On April 17, 1998, in Alma, he married the former Laura J. Faulkner, who survives.

Dave was a graduate of Scio Central School. He was a self-employed truck driver all of his working career, having worked for Buckler Transportation and last for Jason North Transport of Portville.

David enjoyed cooking and helping friends and family. He especially loved his daughter.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Burlew of Allentown; his wife, Laura J. Jandrew of Bolivar; a daughter, Miranda Jandrew at home; two brothers, Michael (Teresa) Jandrew of Olean and Gilbert (Gabe) Jandrew of Allentown; Sarah Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, John Jandrew.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Burial will be in Bowler Memorial Cemetery, Town of Genesee.

Arrangements are under direction of the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc., Bolivar.
